Obey Playing Cards (Red Edition)

Bold, graphic and unmistakably OBEY, the OBEY Playing Cards, Red Edition brings Shepard Fairey’s iconic visual language to a premium deck produced by theory11.

Built around a striking red, black and cream colour palette, this edition draws heavily on the visual style that has defined OBEY for decades. Propaganda-inspired graphics, bold typography, symbols and intricate details transform the familiar playing-card format into something that feels equally at home on the card table or in an art collection.

The tuck box immediately sets the tone. Rich red stock is framed with contrasting black and cream artwork, with the unmistakable OBEY Star taking centre stage. Look closer and the box reveals layers of smaller details, emblems and typography characteristic of Shepard Fairey’s work.

Inside, the same design philosophy carries across the deck, creating playing cards made for OBEY and Shepard Fairey fans, street-art collectors, card enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates distinctive graphic design.

This isn’t simply an OBEY logo applied to a standard pack of cards. It’s a collaboration that translates the brand’s artwork and aesthetic into the format of a premium deck.

The Red Edition is one of three distinctive OBEY designs from theory11. Across the collection, the decks share the same custom illustrated faces, while each edition has its own tuck and card-back artwork. Here, the bold red, black and cream design gives the deck its unmistakable identity.
