OBEY Giant Playing Cards (Black & Gold Edition)

Dont worry, despite the name, OBEY Giant Playing Cards are standard poker-sized playing cards, “Giant” refers to Shepard Fairey’s iconic OBEY Giant artwork.

They are bold, uncompromising and unmistakably OBEY, OBEY Giant Playing Cards by theory11 bring Shepard Fairey’s celebrated graphic style to a striking black and gold deck.

The Giant Edition takes a darker, more luxurious direction than the other OBEY decks. The tuck combines deep black artwork with metallic gold detailing, layering OBEY iconography, typography and propaganda-inspired graphics into a design that rewards a closer look.

At its centre sits the unmistakable OBEY Giant identity, surrounded by visual elements drawn from the wider world of Shepard Fairey’s artwork. Different finishes and contrasting black-on-black details give the packaging depth, while the gold elements cut sharply through the darker background.

Created through the collaboration between theory11 and OBEY, this is a deck aimed squarely at collectors who appreciate the meeting point between playing cards, contemporary graphic design and street art.

The Giant Edition is one of three distinctive OBEY designs from theory11. Across the collection, the decks share the same custom illustrated faces, while each edition has its own tuck and card-back artwork. Here, the black-on-black design and metallic gold detailing give OBEY Giant its unmistakable identity.
