Honouring one of the most powerful deities in ancient Aztec mythology, the Tlaloc Playing Cards, Limited Edition bring the Storm God to life through vivid colour and intricate hand-drawn illustration. This is the second deck in the series celebrating Mexico’s ancestral gods, and it is every bit as striking as the legend it represents.
Tlaloc, the revered God of Rain, was worshipped not only as the bringer of life and sustenance, but also feared for his command over thunder, lightning, hail and the storms that shaped the world. His presence was believed to dwell in sacred caves, springs and the towering slopes of Mount Tlaloc itself. In Mexica artwork, he is almost always depicted in blue and carrying a water vessel, symbols that feature beautifully throughout this deck.
The cards showcase a rich palette and detailed artwork inspired by traditional Aztec design, blending cultural heritage with modern craftsmanship. Printed on premium stock and designed to be both collectible and fully playable, the deck adds a burst of mythology and artistry to any game table.
This release forms part of Collectable Playing Cards’ 1000 Deck Club, with only 1,000 decks produced for the first edition. These initial decks include an exclusive CPC 1000 Deck Club seal, making them highly desirable for collectors. Should the design ever be reprinted, future runs will use the standard Bicycle seal instead.
Total print run for this deck was : 1,152.
