The Tale of the Tempest Playing Cards (Dusk Edition)

The Tale of the Tempest (Dusk Edition) Playing Cards are part of The Gentleman Wake’s narrative-driven collaboration with acclaimed playing card designer Lotrek.

The deck tells the story of The Great Wylenti, an illusionist whose expedition to uncover mysteries worthy of his reputation is struck by a violent tempest, beginning his journey to reunite with Lady Eliza. Lotrek translates the tale into elaborate Victorian-style artwork filled with ornate filigree and references to the storm.

For the Dusk Edition, the tuck is made from eggplant-coloured paper stock with contrasting copper and purple metallic foils, finished with embossing.

The cards were printed by Cartamundi, with the tuck case produced by Oath Playing Cards.
