Surena Playing Cards

The Bicycle Surena Playing Cards feature original hand-drawn artwork inspired by Persian history, culture and traditional craftsmanship.

Designed by artist Diba Salimi, the deck draws inspiration from Persian legends, historic artefacts and the intricate patterns found in traditional Persian rugs. Each suit represents a different period of Persian history, while the Jokers are based on the traditional Botteh motif.

The richly detailed card backs combine deep blue with gold detailing to create a striking design that complements the custom artwork found throughout the deck.

Printed by the United States Playing Card Company with the classic Air-Cushion Finish.
