Sleights Playing Cards

Created as a celebration of EmilySleights52’s playing card journey, Sleights Playing Cards are a clean, performance-focused deck designed with magicians and card handlers firmly in mind.

The deck marks five years since Emily created and produced her first deck, 11th Hour, and combines understated styling with a number of clever details for magic. The back features EmilySleights52’s logo arranged in a repeating pattern, framed by a slim blue border and a traditional white outer border. Crucially for performers, it’s a one-way back design, opening up possibilities for routines without making the secret immediately obvious to spectators.

The faces retain familiar standard courts for instant readability, but introduce subtle custom details throughout. The Aces feature larger, elegant pips, while the Queen of Clubs conceals an 8 of Clubs reveal. Three Jokers – two identical and one similar – provide further possibilities for colour changes and routines, including references to Emily’s earlier 11th Hour and Nebula decks.

Printed by KingStar Playing Card Company, the cards are designed to feel soft yet responsive, with the handling needed for spreads, fans, dribbles, springs and Faro shuffles. A premium paper tuck completes the deck, with an additional reveal hidden on the tuck flaps.
