The Bicycle Skull Deck takes classic Rider Back playing cards and gives them a sharp, monochrome twist with a handful of striking skull-themed details. Originally released in 2010, this edition keeps the familiar Bicycle look and handling while introducing a darker, more stylised personality.
The deck features a dramatic Skull Ace of Spades and a redesigned Queen of Spades with a skeletal face, supported by bold black and red accents across the court cards. The rest of the faces retain the traditional Bicycle layout, creating a balanced mix of the familiar and the macabre.
Despite the name, the back design remains true to the classic Rider Back pattern, using clean black linework on white stock. This makes the deck easy to use for magic and performance while still offering a unique aesthetic on the face cards.
Printed by USPCC with an air-cushion finish, the deck handles smoothly straight from the box. Some editions include gaff cards and online teaching by Magic Makers, offering extra utility for performers who want to add a hint of mystery without switching to a fully themed deck.
