Scarlet Philtre Playing Cards

Created as a follow-up to the original Philtre deck, Scarlet Philtre Playing Cards bring the intricate, antique-inspired design into a rich scarlet colourway, with a hidden advantage for magicians.

Designed by PH and produced by Riffle Shuffle Playing Card Co., Philtre takes its name from the ancient term for a love potion. That idea runs throughout the deck, combining romantic symbolism with detailed ornamental artwork and an understated vintage aesthetic.

Scarlet Philtre is also a marked deck, making it particularly appealing to magicians who want a functional performance deck without the appearance of an obvious magic prop. The design remains elegant enough for cardistry and conventional card games, while the deep scarlet tuck and gold detailing give it a premium, collectable finish.

Manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) using Bee Casino Grade stock, the cards are crushed for a thinner, softer feel and finished with USPCC’s familiar Air-Cushion Finish.

Production was restricted to 2,500 decks, with Riffle Shuffle stating that there would be no reprints.
