Fruity Yummy Mummy Playing Cards (Monster Cereals)

Straight from the cereal aisle, and back from the crypt ,Monster Cereals Fruity Yummy Mummy Playing Cards celebrate one of the most wonderfully strange characters from General Mills’ retro breakfast history.

Fruity Yummy Mummy first appeared in 1988, before disappearing from shelves in 1992. The character eventually returned in 2013, and now gets a deck of his own as part of Fulton’s complete Monster Cereals Playing Cards collection.

Designed by Brad Fulton, the deck captures Yummy Mummy’s wonderfully loud retro look, with his colourful bandages and eccentric personality carried across 56 completely custom playing cards. Even the traditional suits have been reimagined specifically for the Monster Cereals series, giving the deck much more character than a simple branded card back.

The presentation leans heavily into vintage cereal packaging. A custom tuck features deep embossing and spot UV detailing
