El Rei de la Màgia Playing Cards

Bicycle El Rei de la Màgia Playing Cards are a limited edition deck created in collaboration with El Rei de la Màgia, the oldest magic shop in the world, founded in Barcelona in 1881.

The design draws directly from the shop’s long history, incorporating visual references to its archival logos, stamps, and printed materials, alongside nods to the magicians who have owned and shaped the space over the years. The artwork also pays tribute to Joan Brossa, one of Spain’s most influential 20th-century artists, whose work bridged poetry, visual art, and magic.

Printed by the United States Playing Card Company and finished with Bicycle’s Air-Cushion handling, the deck includes a special commemorative card as well as gaff cards, making it suitable for collectors, historians of magic, and practical use in card magic.
