Beyond the barbecue itself, he was fascinated by Franklin’s distinctive branding and the visual identity surrounding the restaurant. A friendship with Aaron and Stacy Franklin eventually provided the perfect opportunity to turn that unmistakable Texas character into a deck of playing cards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor the Classic Orange Edition, inspiration comes from an object familiar to anyone who has eaten at Franklin: the simple fibreglass serving trays used for thousands of portions of brisket, ribs and other barbecue favourites. Those humble trays have become part of the Franklin experience in their own right, and their retro aesthetic translates brilliantly to a deck of cards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll 56 cards are customised, including specially illustrated court cards celebrating the people behind Franklin Barbecue.
